GCI: Educational Institutions Associated With GCI
Why should church leaders get formal training? We offer several reasons:
- to worship God with our mind as well as our heart and strength
- to learn the truth, so that we do not misrepresent God or the gospel
- to get a balanced spiritual diet, rather than focusing on our favorite topics
- to help others apply truth in the world today
For beginning studies, we recommend Ambassador College of Christian Ministry (ACCM), administered by GCI-Australia. For more advanced education, we recommend Grace Communion Seminary (GCS), an accredited, tuition-supported educational institution administered from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ambassador College of Christian Ministry (ACCM) provides practical, quality online training in Christian ministry through both credit and audit programs.
ACCM’s Diploma in Christian Ministry program equips men and women for more effective and informed service in the work of the gospel. It is recognized by Grace Communion International as a ministry qualification.
ACCM also welcomes non-credit students who wish to undertake study of selected classes for personal interest and development without the need to undertake assessment.
Here are the classes currently offered by ACCM:
- Foundations of Faith
- Spiritual Formation
- Survey of the Bible
- Jesus and the Gospels
- Effective Communication
- Preaching
- Christian Leadership
- Applied Christian Ministry
